Create a ritual with your favourite eau de toilette – it's simple and efficient! An excellent way to leave an unforgettable trail!
Eau de toilette or eau de parfum?
If you have the choice, choose eau de parfum – its scent is longer lasting.
Shower and bath gel
In addition to cleansing the skin, shower gels prepare it for other perfumed products. In the shower, use a puff or a sponge to make more foam. For a special touch, use the shower gel to wash scarves or lingerie by hand. They'll be delicately scented with your favourite perfume. Once in a while, you can also replace your regular shampoo with the shower gel to leave your hair delicately perfumed.
Moisturizing body care
Scented creams, mists or body milks are excellent perfumery products. Besides moisturizing the skin and making it silky, they give it a delicate scent. Some even leave a scintillating effect on the skin. Choose a moisturizer suited to your skin type. Cream is ideal for dry and dehydrated skin whereas body milk or mist is best for normal skin. Apply it to your whole body making sure not to forget your wrists and elbows. Then vaporize your eau de toilette or eau de parfum on these areas – the moisturizer will capture the scent and make it last longer. If your product line does not offer a moisturizer, choose an odourless cream or body milk. Besides moisturizing your skin and neutralizing the pH, this fragrance-free moisturizer will capture the scent of your eau de toilette and make it last longer.
Deodorant
Few women's perfume lines offer deodorants. However, watch out for perfumed deodorants (citrus, baby powder, marine scent and others) that could compete with your perfume. Choose a fragrance-free deodorant or antiperspirant to let your eau de toilette or eau de parfum take centre stage.
Applying perfume…
Spray eau de toilette on pulse points (behind the ears, inner elbows, behind the knees and on the wrists). Choose 4 to 6 points. Spray at a distance of about 30 cm. You can also spritz it into the air at shoulder height and walk through it, delicately absorbing the eau de toilette or eau de parfum on your skin.
